We are proud to have designed a venue that will simply adapt to any production need. Candela La Brea is simply the best venue for party in Los Angeles. Our Main Room, Upstairs Lounge & Restaurant Spaces can be rented separately or combined to accommodate any event activity. From intimate private dinners to large scale events, our total capacity of 350 seated and 800 standing makes us the best birthday party venue in Los Angeles. Our turn-key set up with available in-house formal and lounge furniture, BOSE sound system, existing lighting, DJ equipment, stage, full liquor license and on-site catering will take all of the stress off your shoulder knowing all you'll need to do is to show up and have a great time.

THE MAIN ROOM & PATIO

As the largest space in our 7,000 square feet venue, the main room can hold up to 350 guests seated and 800 guests standing. For smaller guest counts clients can rent "half-room" for a discounted venue fee.
With its hangar and Art Deco style and featuring an original restored 40ft dome ceiling the main room includes:

Candela La Brea main room is conveniently connected to a cozy outdoor patio space that can function as an alternative entrance, a smoking lounge or a convenient area for outdoor activities.

HALF ROOM / PARTIAL ROOM RENTAL (perfect for smaller guest counts)

Thanks to our permanent installation of drapes our guests will be able to create a more intimate space perfectly designed for guest counts from 25 to 150 guests. Whether you are looking to host a private dinner for a small group of friends or looking to host an intimate social gathering the half room rental offers a great alternative to our upstairs lounge for smaller and more intimate events. The half room rental includes:

  • Custom Stage & wood floors

  • BOSE sound system

  • DJ equipment

  • 1 HD projector and screen

  • LED lighting

  • 2 full service bars (satellite bars available upon request)

UPSTAIRS LOUNGE

Candela La Brea private upstairs lounge venue can be rented separately or combined with the main room. With a capacity of 25 to 100 guests standing, a private DJ console, marble full bar and in-house furniture designed to create a lounge or more formal set-up, our upstairs lounge offers an intimate space perfect for each occasion. The lounge includes:

  • Marble full bar section

Thanks to its separate entrance, our restaurant venue can be rented separately on in conjunction with the the main room & upstairs lounge in order to accommodate larger guest counts. Its unique Spanish look will add a curated touch to your event. Our restaurant space includes:

  • Custom Wood Floors

Q: Is the in-house furniture an additional cost?
A: No, the venue provides both lounge and traditional furniture pieces at no additional cost. Some of these furniture include cocktail tables, couches, chairs, etc. The full furniture catalog is available upon request.

Q: Am I allowed to bring outside catering?
A: Yes, you are allowed to bring in a licensed and insured caterer. A catering buyout fee would apply if you decide to outsource the catering. By selecting Candela’s catering service you will save and guarantee an unique experience for your guests.

Q: Am I allowed to bring outside bar?
A: Unfortunately, no because Candela has its own liquor license. The venue offers different open bar packages (beer and wine, premium & ultra-premium) and can customize specialty cocktails for your event. Non-alcoholic packages including Mocktails are available as well.
